About the Role
We are currently seeking a hands-on and mechanically minded Line Operator to join our manufacturing team at our Truganina facility in Melbourne.
This is a full-time, permanent position, reporting to the Shift Supervisor. You'll be responsible for operating production equipment, maintaining quality standards, and keeping our production lines running smoothly.
Your work pattern will include:
- 84 hours per fortnight
- 12-hour shifts (12:00 AM - 12:00 PM) or (12:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
- 7 shifts per fortnight, following a rotating cycle:
2 days on - 2 days off - 3 days on - 2 days off - 2 days on - 3 days off - Two full weekends off per month
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor beverage filling and packaging machinery.
- Keep raw materials and packaging supplies stocked for smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot minor production line issues or escalate when required.
- Assist with changeovers and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Uphold hygiene and sanitation standards in line with HACCP and GMP requirements.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in FMCG or a similar fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Mechanically inclined and capable of problem-solving under pressure.
- Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and hygiene protocols.
- Experience with Krones/Kosme production lines or PET manufacturing is advantageous.
- A current forklift licence and driver's licence (preferred).
- Full working rights in Australia.
